It is confident to generate revenue of 340 Million Baht as target.

Komsan Chetchotisak, Chief Commercial Officer of RS Plc and Managing Director of SKY-HIGH Network Co., Ltd., discloses that, "overall the company's radio business SKY-HIGH in the first half of the year is in line our target. We record 170 Million Baht in revenue which accounts for 50% of the annual target of 340 Million Baht, rising by 6% from 320 Million Baht last year.

The main revenue of SKY-HIGH remains coming from advertising or sponsors from COOL 93 FAHRENHEIT as the company has right target customers and audiences along with various marketing activities and events to contribute the revenue. In addition, the launch of the new radio station, FM88 Chiang Mai Cool Mak, since early the year boosts our audience base to increase by 30% or around 300,000 audiences. The company also revises up advertising rates by 12%, evaluated from the rating of COOL 93 FAHRENHEIT which has been ranked Thailand's No. 1 radio station in the easy listening music station group for the 12th consecutive year. The increase in advertising rates has no impact as customers or agencies remain confident in the company."

At the present, Thailand's overall radio business has a stable growth or, in other words, tends to be saturated, given the number of audiences surveyed by Nielsen Media Research. However, our COOL 93 FAHRENHEIT has audience base of more than 1.1 Million per week. In the target segment of audience aged between 20 - 34 years old in Thai song group, we have 44% share in the market. It has been also ranked Thailand's No. 1 radio station in the easy listening music station group for the 12th consecutive year, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Sutee Chatratanakul, Deputy Managing Director of SKY-HIGH Network Co., Ltd., says, "throughout the 12 years of success with our market leadership in radio business surveyed by Nielsen, we have never stopped as we learn that the competition in radio business is currently very high. We have tried to improve and develop new product. Now we develop a mobile application, COOL 93, for audiences to listen to our programs from around the world. Currently, we have more than 700,000 downloads, regarded the top downloaded radio application with the largest number of download in the country. In addition, we add new function, "COOL Privilege", which audiences can download and receive discounts and special offers from selected restaurants and hotel from COOL 93 to meet everyone's lifestyle like listening to COOL radio stations. In the future, we will improve COOL Privilege to be a new channel to increase revenue to the station as well.

As Thailand's No.1 radio station, COOL 93 also has the largest number of activities. Apart from many activities in the first half of the year, we plan to have many more in the second half including ONE LIFE vol. 10: Luxury Nile Cruise - Heritage Experience of a Lifetime which will bring audiences to cruise on the Nile River by the world's luxury cruise ship Sanctuary Sun Boat IV and to see the magnificent Great Pyramid which is also one of the seven wonders of the world. There will be also an activity for food and travel lovers like "Ink Eat All Around" which renowned food critic M.L. Pasan Svastiwat (Ink) will lead to enjoy good food and COOL Music Fest "Lovesick at the Sea". These activities get a great response from audiences and customers so we are strongly confident that SKY-HIGN can generate 340 Million Baht in revenue as target."

"For RS's radio business, we target to have revenue of around 340 Million Baht from formerly 320 Million Baht or an increase of 6% from last year which will increase revenue proportion from radio business to 10% of the group. This year SKY-HIGH has a good trend as we have many improvements and changes to be modern to get along with the digital age which can respond to audiences' and customers' demand. Particularly, COOL 93 application and COOL Privilege function have an upward trend after they receive a good response from user. They are another channels to expand audience base and it will be a channel to add value to us and customers in the future which will have a good impact on COOL stations significantly. Plus, the strong brand of COOL stations will also help everything this year be in line as target," Mr. Komsan concludes.
