Social Screen' key to success of YAAK TV, the channel has a highly successful both teenagers and sponsors

After launching YAAK TV, the free TV uncensored 24 hours on August 1, the channel now can sit in the hearts of teen audiences, thanks to the social network platform that approach audiences to participate in the program, moreover, YAAK also provides the strong and difference contents. The highly popular of YAAK TV within 1 month has convinced teen audiences and received a greater sponsorship throughout year-end. The channel is confident it can achieve revenue of no less than 100 million baht within 1 year.

Lad Phrao - Pattira Palawatvichai, managing director of Yaak Co., Ltd, the owner of YAAK TV, says YAAK TV, the free TV uncensored 24 hrs, has positioned itself as the leader teen variety TV in Thailand by providing variety contents that tap teen audience's hearts such as Narak Ah, Papayaakzi, Artist Uncensored and Yaak Music Space. Moreover, YAAK TV has also link the contents with social network - facebook, twitter, mms and youtube, allowing teen audiences can communicate with the favorite artists via TV with real-time.

YAAK TV is the first channel in Thailand that implements the social network platform so called "Social Screen" for updating the social network - facebook and twitter include information and artists popular during the on air in order to respond all lifestyle of new generation all 24 hrs. Currently, YAAK TV has 3 million-4 million audiences' base that following all movement of pop star artists, Pattira says and adds that all audience's base of RS artists will become audience' base of YAAK TV as well.

After on air only 1 month, YAAK TV has high expectation feedback by teen audiences nationwide. There are 3.8 million viewers, who are age between 4-24 years old. The company plans to expand customer base to mass university and expected the number of audiences' base will increase to 8 million within 1 year. The air time that has highest audiences is 16.00-21.00 pm, regarding it is the highlight period of the channel, thus, the air time period welcomes the highest audiences a day. YAAK has also geared up the marketing plan to promote the content and brand awareness of the channel to audiences nationwide.

YAAK has main sponsors which cover brands among teenagers in term of technology, snack, beauty and beverages. The brands are Nokia, Smooth E, Samsung, Mashita seaweed, Foremost etc. Almost 20 brands are ready the sponsors of YAAK TV, moreover, the channel has a range of sponsorship options available, including social events and marketing campaigns, which the activities were achievement. The brands that join with YAAK TV to launch activities such as Taro MC Contest, MC Lady Ohhyo to Japan, Maybelline BB and Gen Idol.
