RS aims to be market leader in digital entertainment network in 2011 with Bt 3,100 millions for the annual billing

Moving forward to the global trend in digital business, RS plans 2011 to be the year of effectiveness for the whole working arena and get ready to be market leader in digital entertainment network. Enhance the company working force, revolutionize marketing plan and advance into up-and-coming business are marketing's key strategies. Despite no World Cup project, the company supposes to generate Bt 3,100 millions or about 10 percent growth.

Intercontinental Hotel - SURACHAI CHETCHOTISAK, Chief Executive Officer , RS PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED said that the effectiveness of 2011's marketing strategies will support the company's growth in every segment including Entertainment Content Provider group and Media Service business. The key strategy is "FIRST" which a complement five meaningful letters. Firstly, F-Fit comes with an energetic movement of always keeping fit, firm, and worthwhile. Secondly, I-Innovation comes up with creative idea while R covers R&D to reinforce the work. S is speed with an active mode of flexibility to change and challenge. Lastly, T-Team, is a team working of the whole company.

"Our FIRST strategy is this year's key plan which will bring the company to be Thailand's market leader in digital entertainment network. We aim to generate Bt 3,100 million this year where 60% of revenue coming from content business and the remaining 40% from media business."

The overall year plan still focuses on the combination of entertainment content with all kinds of media in hand. This will be as a blueprint for every company under RS umbrella. RS also creates new business called Fully Digital Music while also enhance radio business as well as modern trade business. This year's movement also includes satellite TV in broadcasting arena. Last but not least is to develop business partners for marketing project.

Even though there will not be a mega project to generate a big amount of income like FIFA World Cup, RS still believes in potential of its business. This year's key income is supposed to come from music & digital business. Run under a concept of Fully Digital Music, the profitable strategy comes from RS's customer database of mobile and online. Moreover, the successful digital campaign of Super Mao *339 which can make over 3 million members in 2011.

While digital market is now a rising business, the traditional media like Radio is still moving on. Cool 93 Fahrenheit run by Sky High Network is an outstanding radio program with highly recognition among listeners and advertisers. With its brand value, the program has expanded its work to a cool business line of Cool Latitude - - a travel stylist business which expected to generate 50 MB for its first year.

Modern Trade run by RS In-store Media is still on growing. P.O.P Radio, LCD and Bus Ad are acceptable to be effective media. Guaranteed by Nielsen Media Research, RS In-store Media is among the most efficient accessible modern trade. This year it aims to make Bt 300 MB or about 30% growth.

Another rising business is satellite TV business. Only one year of two programs featuring YOU Channel and Sabaidee TV proves the success. The company plans to launch a new satellite TV within the first quarter. Dubbed Channel 8 Infinity, the new channel's concept is about the never ending happiness. This business aims to hit 400 MB revenue in this year. The expanding of the third channel is expected to create more awareness among audience and also to be another media to promote RS artists.

Entertainment Content Provider and Media Service are this year's two main businesses. The first group includes music, digital, showbiz, film and sport while the second features TV, radio and modern trade business. This year's overall growth will also come from the re-engineering that will make all businesses under RS move forward.
