RS was established in 1976 by Mr.Kriengkrai chetchotisak under the name of "Rose Sound", which later changed its name to "RS Promotion 1992 Co.,Ltd" in 1992, including the relocation of a building, from Urupong Road to Chetchotisak Building Soi Ladprao 15 plus new standpoint from music company to full entertainment company. In 2003, RS was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and was renamed to "RS Public Company Limited” up to the present.
- Media Business comprises Television and Radio media. Television unit is comprised of one digital free TV "Channel 8" free TV channel with drama series, sports contents, news programs, international series and popular variety shows and 3 satellite TV channels including "Sabaidee TV" Thai country music channel with the number 1 ranking in satellite TV rating, "Channel 2" entertainment variety for star lovers and "YOU Channel" music channel for teenagers who love music contents. Together with Radio station "COOL Fahrenheit 93" Thai string music with easy listening style has been ranked no. 1 radio station in the easy listening music station group and no. 2 radio station in the country.
- Health and Beauty Business with 3 main product categories; skincare, hair care and food supplement, is to utilize RS’ media channel and the business will be another revenue contribution to the Company.
- Music Business mainly comes from 2 main channels; Digital Distribution, and Copyright Collection.
- Event Management Business is comprised of Concert and Events Management, Tailor-made Events and Artist Management.

The Company and its subsidiaries will pay a dividend not less than 50 percent of net profit after tax and legal reserve. However, the Board of Directors may consider and decide not to follow this policy, or adjust it in order to maximize the benefit to the shareholders.
By virtue of Section 98 of the Public Limited Companies Act B.E. 2535, The Company has to arrange Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders (“AGM”) within 4 months from the last day of its fiscal year. RS’s Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders is usually held in April.
The Company will announce the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and deliver the notice to the shareholders during March to April of each year. The company will publish the notice of the meeting and proxy form on company website for downloading accordingly.
In case a shareholder cannot attend AGM in person. He or She may appoint a representative to attend the meeting by using a proxy form as attached to the Notice of AGM or printing from the website www.rs.co.th/investor. The proxy does not need to be RS’s shareholder. Either a shareholder must appoint only one person to attend and vote in the meeting, he/she cannot split the number of shares to more than one proxy, or a shareholder is able to appoint an independent director of the Company to vote on behalf of such shareholder.
